Sakurai wins an FSEA Gold Leaf Award  for 4th consecutive year
 

​The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) has announced that Sakurai was a Bronze level winner for Best Use of Foil Embossing - Calendars (industry Suppler in its 31st Annual Gold Leaf Awards Competition held during the FSEA Print Embellishment Conference in Dallas, Texas.  Gold, silver and bronze winners were awarded in each of 53 specialty effects and binding categories that featured a wide range of digital and conventional methods of print embellishments, finishing and foil stamping. 

 

Sakurai’s award winning entry, entitled Beyond Your Imagination, utilized screenprinting and hot foil stamping techniques to create a spectacular, seven color calendar which was designed and printed by Kumazawa Screen Printing in Tokyo, Japan. The printing processes included screen printing on a Sakurai Maestro cylinder screen press equipped with a Natgraph dryer and a Sakurai LQM-105 ScreenFoil Hot Foil Stamper.
