With 654 exhibitors, filling 460,296 square feet of booth space on the sold out show floor, this was the largest U.S. national graphic communications trade show since 2000 and the second biggest GRAPH EXPO ever. Its education program of nearly 70 sessions drew a record number of participants, notably the largest registration since 2000, with participants choosing to attend more sessions than in the past, including five sold out sessions. Visitors attended from all around the world to see the newest in technology offerings.

There were 20,285 actual verified attendees at the show, achieving a 3% increase in attendance over last year. The health of the North American Printing Industry is obviously in very good condition, and the buying mood of the show participants indicates that the outlook is positive for the future.

Sakurai exhibited their newly introduced 25" x 38" Five-Color Offset Press, which incorporates Sakurai's full automation as standard equipment. This is Sakurai's first entry into the multicolor 16-page market and it was very well received by the printers who saw the press in action. Also shown on the floor was the popular 20" x 26" Four-Color plus Aqueous Coater. This space saving model offers printers a production tool that will handle all half size commercial work at an extremely cost efficient investment price.

Numerous press orders were registered with Sakurai, which makes this show one of the most successful in memory.
